A couple of weeks ago, Molly, Allesandra, and I went and filmed in the Puppet Library in Boston. It was interesting to talk to someone who is so invested in a unique type of art. Sarah (the woman who owned the library) so really nice and clearly invested in puppetry. The library was overflowing with puppets. She also showed us her work space and told us she was making one for the women's march that happened last Saturday.

This Saturday, I took a screenwriting class in Boston. Writing a screenplay is almost exactly the same as writing a stage play. I took it to learn more about other types of creative writing because that is something i want to do in college. I realized that i like writing  A LOT more than actually filming and working with cameras. In the videos we've filmed previously, we usually use improv, so I don't get a chance to write much. The class was really fun though, it might be something I want to do in the future.

Throughout these 2 months Molly, Allesandra and I filmed for the METG Spirit of Festival. We got clips from early rehearsal and then later on we got clips from performances. This showed how our much the cast and crew of Pretty Theft improved and grew as a whole. We also got time lapses of all the school's time lapses. I thought it was very important to include all of the schools the competed at prelims. We submitted it and ended up getting runner up!

Throughout the end of May, Molly and I had to record and edit a senior video for the yearbook. My jobs from this project included recording clips of performances, editing, and the overall planning of the video. Doing this all independently was really difficult but beneficial at the end.I think my end product video is an accurate representation of what I learned in TV class this year. While making this video, I learned very basic editing techniques such as cutting and splicing clips together.
